Three men remain in custody following a pair of drug raids Thursday by the Ottawa Police Service on homes in Ottawa and Gatineau following a month-long investigation.
A total of eight men were taken into custody during the raids on Marigold Crescent in Ottawa and Marcotte Street in Gatineau.
The five men arrested in the Ottawa raid were released without charge.
Gatineau police assisted on the Marcotte Street raid, where Khalil Kanaan, 25, Stephanie Kanaan, 23, and Alain Bakhous, 23, all of Gatineau, were arrested and face charges including, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cannabis resin for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.
