Capital Pride Festival celebrants decorated an OC Transpo double-decker bus for a flag-raising tour that will shuttle across Ottawa all day Monday.
Any who see the bus are invited to wave, cheer and board the bus for the next destination.
Events began at a pancake breakfast at the Ottawa Police Service headquarters on Elgin Street at 6 a.m., where Police Chief Charles Bordeleau flipped cakes.
At 10:15 a.m., the bus will be at the OC Transpo Articulated Bus Dispatch Building, 745 Industrial Ave.

From 11:15 a.m. to noon, the bus will be at the Bylaw and Regulatory Services headquarters, 735 Industrial Ave.
The Fire headquarters at 1446 Carling Ave. will also get a flag, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., then the Ottawa Paramedic Services headquarters from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m., 2465 Don Reid Dr.
Another flag will be raised, along with an official proclamation of Capital Pride Week by Mayor Jim Watson of Capital Pride Festival, at Ottawa City Hall starting at 4 p.m.
