More construction will start at the pedestrian cycling bridge on the Airport Parkway on Monday, creating road closures.
Two sections of the parkway will be affected at different times on Monday and Tuesday.
The first will affect the northbound on-ramp from Hunt Club Road onto the parkway. It will close at 6 p.m. Monday and reopen at 4 a.m. Tuesday.
The second, which starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, closes the parkway from Brookfield Road to Hunt Club Road. It will reopen Wednesday at 4 a.m.
Both closures are in order to install a steel bridge deck. Digital signs will notify motorist of closures and detour options.
The City of Ottawa says the construction schedule is weather-dependent and may change.
