Ottawa Charity Ping Pong is asking local artists to put their spin on a design for the official paddles, which will be featured at a charity event in October.
The event hopes to raise money for four local charities: the Youth Services Bureau, Operation Come Home, Do it For Daron and Christie Lake Kids. It will take place in the ByWard Market on Oct. 3 at SpinBin.
“We’re really thrilled to offer the opportunity to have Ottawa artists play a key role in our charity event,” Jessica Whiting said in a statement. “There are so many talented people in our city and we can’t wait to see what designs they come up with.”
Artists are asked to submit their design to ottawacharitypingpong@gmail.com by 5 p.m. on Sept. 5 to be eligible. The winning designer will receive two tickets to the event and two paddles from PaddleYou.
