Ottawa police want the public’s help in identifying a woman they say launched an unprovoked attack against another woman on Laurier Avenue earlier this month.
Police said the woman was walking east on Laurier Avenue West around 4 p.m. on June 7 when she passed the 38-year-old victim and then attacked her before a passerby stopped the assault. The victim did not know her attacker, police said.
Police described the suspect as a white woman with brown, shoulder-length, curly hair, around 130 pounds with brown eyes. She was wearing grey pants with a pink top.
