Ottawa police are asking the public to help them find a missing 31-year-old man amid concerns for his safety.
Rashid Mahamoud, 31, was last seenon Carling Avenue between Island Park Drive and Parkdale Avenue around noon Thursday. He’s described as a black male, five feet, six inches tall, and 190 pounds with short black hair and a short beard. He was wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt, grey pants and black running shoes with orange laces.
Anyone with information on his location is asked to call police dispatch at (613) 230-6211 or contact the missing persons section at (613) 236-1222 ext. 2355 on week days between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
