Edmonton guitar rockers Royal Tusk release DealBreaker, their full-length debut, on May 6, but they’re in town on Saturday, April 30, to give fans a preview of its fiery offerings. Formed by two former members of Ten Second Epic, Royal Tusk made a splash with its 2014 EP, a tantalizing set of tunes that led to high-profile tours with Big Wreck and Metric. Although they’re on tour with Collective Soul at the moment, they are squeezing in a few headlining dates, including Saturday’s gig at Ritual, 137 Besserer St., with Ottawa-based openers Eagleson and Metronome Jones. Tickets are $12 advance, plus surcharges, available through spectrasonic.com. Doors open at 8 p.m. You must be 19 or older to attend.
