Ottawa firefighters responded to a call about a barbecue on fire at a Carp home on Saturday evening.
The fire was at 2264 Peter Robinson Rd., where the cooker caught fire on the front porch of the home shortly after 7 p.m. The fire was contained to the barbecue, Ottawa fire officials said.
Upon arrival, it took firefighters about 20 minutes to get the flames under control.
Ottawa police and paramedics, Enbridge Gas and Hydro One were also on the scene.
Everyone was reported to have exited the home. No injuries were reported.
