Studio tour: Take a sweet drive to Lanark County for the Pakenham Maple Run Studio Tour Saturday and Sunday. Stop for maple treats at Fulton’s Pancake House and Sugar Bush then continue on to eight studios featuring 22 artists. Works include glass blowing, paintings, wood working, pottery and more. The self-guided tour runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Get a downloadable map here.
Antiques: Billed as Ottawa’s largest sale of its kind, the Ottawa Antique & Vintage Market returns Saturday and Sunday. Find antiques, vintage, retro and one-of-a-kind home decor and more at The Fieldhouse at Carleton University, Bronson and Sunnyside avenues. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10. Get a discount pass here.

Fibre art: Get warm and fuzzy at the annual Fibre Fling Show and Sale put on by more than 40 artists from Out-of-the-Box. Find quilting, felting, stitchery, rug-hooking and more April 10 and 11 at Kitchissippi United Church, 630 Island Park Dr. A $5 admission supports the Stephen Lewis Foundation. There’s also high tea for $10 (Saturday only).
Outdoor living: Get ready for summer with the Cottage & Backyard Show April 10 to 12 at the EY Centre, 4899 Uplands Dr. Get ideas for all your outdoor spaces and the toys that go with them. Admission is $12 ($10 in advance online; those 17 and under get in free) and parking is $8.

Art show: Add colour to your decor with an original work from the Manotick Art Association’s A Brush with Art show and sale. More than 40 artists will show paintings, photography, pottery and glasswork April 17 to 19. There’s a $10 admission charge for the Friday vernissage, although cash donations will be accepted for the Manotick Food Cupboard the other days. It’s at the Manotick Curling Centre, 5519 South River Dr.
