Ottawa firefighters contained an early morning garage fire, stopping it from spreading to the attached house near Greenbank Road early Saturday morning.
Reports were received of thick black smoke coming from an attached garage at about 5:48 a.m. at 31 Stapledon Cres., firefighters said. They aggressively attacked the fire, which they believe began in a vehicle parked inside the structure.
No injuries were reported.
Loss and damage have yet to be calculated.
