B.C. firm recruits for showers, bachelorette and divorce parties
Ottawa men willing to bare their bums, bulging biceps and six-pack abs while serving cocktails and canapés at private parties: Butlers in the Buff wants you.
The Vancouver-based “male-order” company is holding online auditions to expand its part-time staff of semi-naked hunks to meet high demand for servers at bachelorette parties, baby showers and divorce celebrations.
“We provide gorgeous men to serve drinks and nibbles with a cheeky twist: they serve wearing just a collar, bow-tie, cuffs and a little apron that doesn’t quite cover their bottoms,” according to the company website, butlersinthebuff.ca, which quickly points out that the “butlers are not strippers.”
Good looks and Fabio-esque physiques aside, applicants must also be charming, friendly and hardworking to get the $50-an-hour position, plus tips and travel costs.
As the website points out: “The job is perfect as part-time work for men who have a full-time job but find that they would like to supplement their income for travel or study.”
