Ottawa police have charged a school bus driver with impaired driving after a collision this week.
Police say a bus and a car collided Thursday around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Milton and Navan roads in the rural east Ottawa village of Navan.
There were no children on the bus, and no one was injured. The driver, an employee of First Student Canada, had been en route to a school to pick up students for an after-school program, police said Friday.
Kellie Perrier, 45, of Ottawa has been charged with impaired driving.
She is to appear in court on Jan. 29.
