Ottawa police seek help identifying suspect in Halloween bank robbery

The Ottawa Police Service robbery unit is seeking assistance to identify a suspect in a Halloween bank robbery.

According to police, around 7:50 p.m. on Oct. 31st, a man entered a bank in the 2400 block of Bank Street in the Towngate Plaza.

The man produced a note demanding money and then repeated the demand verbally to a second customer service representative. He fled the premises with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’2″ (188cm), skinny build with a big nose. The suspect wore a black ski mask, a dark hooded jacket, grey sweatpants, black gloves, and white and black running shoes.
