Re: My apology to Ottawa’s homegrown extremist, Dec. 10.
Kelly Egan’s column is superb and should be read by all. I ask those who counsel would-be radicals to include this material in their discussions.
I am blessed with neighbours, many of whom like me, immigrated to this wonderful country. One of my greatest experiences was last Christmas — I received a gift from my Muslim neighbours who, shortly after they moved, had told me to call on them if I needed help. As Egan says, “Canada this vast, gorgeous place where languages and colours and faiths have found a way to peacefully get along.”
May we all realize how fortunate we are to be Canadians and how enriched our lives are here.
