A residential building on Lola Street was damaged after a fire broke out late Sunday night.
Just before midnight, Ottawa Fire received a 911 call reporting smoke showing from the building at 1023 Lola Street.
When they arrived, firefighters confirmed the fire in a front room. The fire was under control by 12:17 a.m.
No residents were home at the time; however, two dogs were inside, but are uninjured. There were no injuries reported.
Damage is estimated at $50,000 and the cause is under investigation.
